The breastplate is made of 2 pieces of 2 mm steel welded together, the back plates are 1 mm and all the fauld plates, front and back, are 1.5 mm. The cover consists of 2 layers of cotton fabric. All the rivets are solid and hammered by hand. All the parts have been cold-forged due to the time limit we had and the very limited tools. The various lames have been laser cut after a computer generated diagram created by the owner.
